Tony Drago and JUMP CUES

Tony Drago is a purist and prefers to kick rather than use a jump cue at least that was the case at the World Pool Championship.

Now, because he will be a part of the Mosconi Cup Team, he has pledged to get a jump cue and will discuss which one with his team.

What jump cue do you think he will wind up with?

He got a jump cue in the middle of the WC and used it once in his match against Mika Immonem. He purchased a Predator Air I believe.

i saw him purchase predator air at the backstage of world pool these few days :)

everyone is gonna have to convert, like it or not, just too many players out there shooting to well with the jump cues, playing without one leaves you at a big disadvantage

The real question is, did it help him make any balls? :)

Joey,

Did you see Roberto Gomez was jumping with a Predator Air? he only messed up one (caught the top of a blocker) that I saw but he hit a couple of very accurate jumps with it too.

Well the one time I saw him use it he sold out.

It's getting to the point where the players are not only are jumping to make the hit, but they are getting good at pocketing and playing shape, playing bank shots and safes - long shots, pretty much everything. If you hook these guys, it better be right next to the blocker or they're not really hooked at all if they're good at jumping.

Practicing jumps is the way to go, but it's really hard on the cloth.

yEAH, THAT Predator Air is the real deal. I'm still going to work on those close ball jumps but I have a fairly accurate long jump shot, although I plan to work on that one too.

Roberto, has more talent than most of the players in the WPC. He's one of those natural athletes but the big plus for him is that he has a good work ethic. After he digests what happened to him, his stable managers will put him on the right track and hopefully we will see him at the Derby City Classic kicking some more butt. He's learned a lot now and he will take his game to the next level.

The Pred Air of Gomez got his name etched on it in gold. it was a gift from the sole distributor of pred cues in the Philippines.

$187 is quite reasonable compared to the price we have to pay here in UK...120 pounds!!thats about $230

Where did you get it from? I'm getting mine from Seyberts.

They're 169 Euros in The Netherlands, around $250 but then a Predator Z-2 costs around $325 here.
No wonder Nielsen sells so much stuff he.

Website in the UK www.pro9.co.uk, the only thing you could say is by the time you add shipping and duty tax onto a U.S purchase it's not that bad..still way too much i'll be getting one from seyberts too but i'm gonna wait till the rush finishes and get one next year, everyone is sold out till december anyway.

Yeah, I was originally going to buy my 5k2 from Pro9, but I decided to go for Seyberts seeing as I'm getting a lot of stuff from there so the shipping for the whole value of the stuff shouldn't be too bad.

Your better off going with Seyberts they offer really quick delivery and brilliant service..most of the time i can get things quicker from U.S by the time pro9 send it out, also alot cheaper in U.S and you don't have to wait for items that aint in stock(most of the time)if you ordered that 5k2 from pro9 they would probably have to order it themselves and then forward it to you...don't get me wrong its good if you just want a few little things like chalk, tips etc but bigger more expensive things i always go to Seyberts..especially with the pound so strong against the dollar at the moment.
