You cannot get a cue from Pete for the price you listed, his new cues start at $2500. Very nice cue, and will surely make a great player. Good luck with the sale.
 THANK YOU!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T USE THE BLUEBOOK FOR PETE'S CUES AND THINK THAT YOU ARE EVEN CLOSE.

HIS 4 POINT 4 VENEER CUES LIKE THIS WITH DELRIN AND LINEN START AT 2500 AND THE WAIT IS IN THE 4-5 YEAR VICINITY.

I'M NOT DISCUSSING WHAT THIS CUE SHOULD SELL FOR, I'M JUST MAKING SURE THAT PEOPLE KNOW THAT THE BB PRICING IS A JOKE. IT WAS SET BY CUE DEALERS, AND IF THOSE DEALERS WEREN'T SELLING A CERTAIN CUEMAKERS WORK, THAN THAT CUEMAKERS PRICING WAS LISTED LOW. AND THE CUEMAKERS THAT THEY HAD DEALS WITH WERE ALL LISTED WAY TOO HIGH.

P.S. IF YOU FIND 4 POINT VENEERED TASCARELLAS FOR 1500, LET ME KNOW. I'M A BUYER.

SORRY FOR THE RANT, I JUST WANT PEOPLE TO HAVE GOOD INFORMATION.
Part 1: Caps lock off ;)

Part 2: There was no information about the price range the seller was looking for. I could have simply asked "what price range" but instead I intentionally cited the blue book to make a point. I.e., it's not much fun to guess about high dollar cue prices, in the same way that it's not fun to have your cue devalued by the blue book.

Apparently my point was too subtle...

Cue looking for a new home.
Thanks
I think the person that mentioned the blue book did so becuase you did not list a price. It would be a fair resource to check for someone that isn't familiar with a makers name like Tascarella. But I like your method of seeing the best offer you get, telling us all that you've been offered $500 more than you really were and now showing that offer to say you need a little bit more.

I don't beleive what was said about inflating or devaluing certain cue makers prices to benefit them. I think they are spot on here with what this cue and what it should be worth and not what inflated price people have conned buyers into paying.

You have $1500 from me if you want it because that's what it's worth if you want to sell it in the current maket within a year.

No offence but that's what it's worth to me right now.

If not good luck!

$1500 is what this cue is worth? Was that supposed to be a joke?

John

some ppl have no clue. i talked to SR last month and IF he will make you this cue it starts at 2500$. he said 6 months to 4 year wait. (and he likes me) if he called you in 6 months id die!!!

the blue book it abso worthless for prices. i dont even own one anymore but when i did it was for certin info and picture refrence ONLY. not only is the pricing years old. some of the info is from the previous edition making it even worse. some makers i know are DOUBLE the blue book prices by now

So true....ok, $1549. If I had the bucks this cue would be mine. Good luck with your sale.

No joke, I certainly get to decide what it's worth to me.
Your are correct you can decide how much you would spend. In the same breathe and nonrealistic attitude, you will mostly likely never own a Tascarella cue.
Thank you for your input and giving everyone your thoughts. We still have free speech, but not free cues.

Not sure why you didn't post the price at the start.
