After Efren and Cliff there might be a tie between more than 7 more players making a top ten list not really possible ;.......

I agree with most of your list, but three guys glaringly missing from your list are: Larry Nevel, Billy Palmer and Gabe Owen - I would put these three on your list instead of Hopkins and Luat for sure, and probably ahead of Putnam........................Ghost

This is what im talkin about..

1. Efren no questions asked.. The world has got 10 8
2.Corey / Joyner on his good days
3. Joyner.. on the days that hes not feeling so.. but he dont have to like playin frost or ...
4. Frost I know he beat Joyner at
5. It Shouldve been daulton and still could be but Im gonna have to go with Jose Parica
6 Danny Harriman
7 Alex Pagulayan
8 Billy Palmer
9 Tony Cohan
10 Buddy Hall

AFter My the top Four the people I chose might take a few losses.. But a long session nobody has to like it.. There are a couple of players not on the list because their not known.... :)

Wow I feel pretty good having stayed even with Billy Palmer for a little while playing even for $30 a game. Till he decided I wasn't going to bet more and snapped me off. ;-)

Well it was a cheap lesson. Only $90.

Everybody lists Frost and I think he's great too, but he never does
all that well in tourneys. Any thoughts on why?

No one in the country has to like it playing Gerry Slivka one pocket . . . or 9-ball and banks for that matter. That's a fact.

Frost doesn't do that well in tourneys because he pulls two and three all-nighters in a row gambling during every one pocket tournament. This is not heresay -- I've witnessed it many times.

I've seen it many times as well. He has often had to climb through the losers bracket because he didn't show up for an early match. He usually gets mad at the people who were partying with him for not waking him up, even though they were probably even more wasted than he was. If he does show up, playing on virtually no sleep for 4-5 consecutive days can hurt his game. There are some funny stories about him missing matches intentionally, just to spite a road partner he was mad at.

Well, that says a lot about his character. He is at a professional level and sure doesn't act professionally. Another waste of talent if you ask me.

Unfortunately, there's usually more money to be made in the practice room than in the tournament. Maybe his shelves are falling off the walls from all of the pool trophies. ;)
