In a recent video, I demonstrated and analyzed the Top 10 Most Famous pool shots by the Greatest of All Time (GOAT): Efren Reyes. In this video, I present the Top 10 Most Famous Shots by everybody else. I attempt to recreate them, and I give advice for how to be successful if you want to give them a try. Check it out:

As always, I look forward to your feedback, comments, questions, complaints, and requests.

Enjoy,
Dave

PS: CORRECTIONS (sorry for my carelessness - I should have found and watched the source match videos for context first):
- on shot 5, Corey was playing 1-pocket (not 10-ball), so it was a two-way shot where he was getting the 8 away from his opponent's pocket while also having a chance to pocket the 10.
- on shot 10, Shane was playing 10-ball, which is a call-pocket game, so he intentionally tried to make the 10 (or leave the 3 bad if he didn't). If he had called the 3 instead, the 10 would spot and his opponent would shoot.

You are correct. FYI, I have the following in the video description and pinned comment (and now in the OP here):

Nice video, Dave. Melling's most famous shot was at the 2012 Mosconi, with the score Europe 9 USA 9, and it's one of the best shots I've ever seen played on a pool table. Here's the video, and the shot I'm referencing occurs at 6:45. The chance of getting from the two ball to the three ball was so unimaginable that the commentators suggested that Melling might play a safety. The shot Melling eventually found brought the house down. Melling won this match, got Europe to the hill, Europe won the Mosconi Cup, and Melling was named MVP. The shot has sometimes been referred to as his "MVP shot."

That is a good one. I've added it to the Great Pool Shots resource page.

Thanks,
Dave

Nice vid Doc.

That was such a good shot by Deluna and the ONLY applause he got was a knee slap from Shaw. The crowd had no idea
