That are in the FR system lol.

I imagine there's some 900 FR chicken farmer in PHI that annihilates his small town on market days and then heads back home for a month.
Maybe. I would imagine most 750+ players in the Filipines are known to most in the pool crowd. I'm sure there's some $$ players that can't spell Fargo much less know what it is.

Does anybody know if Ching Shun Yang still plays competitively? Thought I saw him on some stream matching up a few years back.
talking about the 'son of pool' guy from taiwan?? if so i don't think he's played much since 2010ish. iirc he started pro fishing.

My guess, based on chats I've had with Jay Helfert, is that there are 500 Asian players that play 750+ Fargo speed and the majority of them are just action players.

Most of them lack the desire, the time or the funds to make a career of pro pool and, of course, we've reached the point in pro pool where Fargo 750 players are dead money in events having a deep internationally diverse field.

here's a match from 2019 where he beats kaci:

i guess he just doesn't travel much. i always thought he was better than fong pang chao

It is about time to update this statement on fargorate.com regarding what it means to be a Fargo 800: "A top world-class player. Fewer than 20 players worldwide have ratings that exceed 800"
Actually, the 50th ranked player based on Fargo has a Fargo of 799. I agree that 800 is the measure of a top world-class player.

Still stoked I took a set from Zhu Xi He - I am surprised there are not more Chinese players on this list, but I imagine a lot of them gravitate towards Chinese-8. The money is better.
