Being in the middle of a BB 8 ball tourney right now myself, I have no qualms about pro's playing 8b on the BB. It's just as tough, if not a little harder than 8b on a 9 foot table.
But I have zero interest in watching any rotation game being played by pro's on the BB. That's kind of a joke.
