Put a bad nick in my schon the other night, it already had another bad nick and ive been thinking how nice a leather wrap would be, so ive decided to go for a refinish/leather wrap on it. I have to say i love the stacked leather tiger wraps, the penetration model with the multiple colors http://www.tigerproducts.com/store/home.php?cat=103, something tasteful like a brown and black (ths schon is black points with maple), nothing gaudy. Ok my delimma is this.....do I send my stick to tiger and let them do it all? Has anyone had tiger do a refinish as well as a wrap, i dont know if they even do them. My other 3 options would be to either send the cue back to schon, to mike webb, or to sherbine @ proficent (after some research and personal experience these are the 3 I narrowed the list to, although im sure there are tons of great cue makers out there who could do this job well). I am going to need some ring work done because i want the wrap extended longer than the originial and a new channel will have to be cut, etc etc. I really dont want to have the cue redone then send to tiger for the wrap, i want it all done by one person at one time. Opinions?
