Many kind words and compliments from so many Azers I hold in high regard......thanks....and on behalf of Mr. Rauenzahn who crafted this cue....
made it come together.......added his own zest to the design.......thanks ever so much.

I noticed that for some reason there's a small band of Azers that just steadfastly refuse to recognize Jerry for being a darn good cue-maker.....I have
really great cues and I'll swear on a stack of bibles that the cue Jerry just made me plays equal to any of my other cues. If you allow me a few hours of
play with this cue, I just might report back it actually rates as #1.

Anyway, I scoff at some of the idiots on the Forum and appreciate the opinions of so many other Azers. Thanks again........and the Jerry R. cue really
does play amazingly.......the balance and feel is superb! And yes, those tips would be Kamui Clear Black (Soft) & a titanium screw for weight control.

Matt,
What a great line up of traditional cues. I like them all,,, only now it is time to have Mr R make a "Hoppe"! I would not pay attention to any negative comment as it is only an indication of a poster's lack of knowledge in terms of todays cue making and collecting.
All the best and thanks for sharing.
Phil

I think it is one thing to copy someone's work exactly and try to pass it off as original (that would be a counterfeit). I see nothing wrong with being inspired by one of the greatest cue makers ever (who has long passed away) and having someone make a cue similar with their own twist. It's not like it is being passed off as an original and its an awesome looking cue. Kudos to Jerry R. and Bavafongoul.

This post is intended to educate people like fluffy et al because it's their ignorance that causes them to embarrass themselves with blockhead statements about cue designs and originality and copies, etc.

There are 3 published Editions of the Blue Book of Cues spanning decades of cue-making by hundreds of cue-makers.......the best of the best are contained within.......I beseech you to browse through the
book and look at all the many, many designs......thousands of cues are displayed and all the most famous and greatest cue-makers.........now go peruse those 3 publications.....everyone has copied someone
at one point or another.........look at how many cues look alike.......Duh.....Nuf Ced!

It sure sounds like people who throw stones do so because they have their own agenda and I think most of us know why too......fluffy probably plays with a Budweiser graphite pool cue but it's original because
Budweiser's name & label is copyrighted.......Nuf Ced!

I love that you use words like 'beseech' and 'peruse' in your response to a guy who thinks 'frowned' is spelled 'fround' and 'honor' has an E in it. Lol

Budweiser cue, LOL!

FYI... I met him at Strokers in Palm Harbor, FL last month during a collectors swap meet. Flufly has a hellova collection, including an original Balabushka. IIRC he had a really nice level 5 Richard Black, too.

You've got your opinion, he's got his.
