Accident

On behalf of the Thames family, Thank you so very much.

FYI - Tucker is being transported (air ambulance) to Atlanta tomorrow, to a rehabilitation center for paralysis patients. I have printed these pages and responded to everyone. PLEASE keep the comments coming...... it has really picked up his spirits as he reads them over and over.
Thanks again to everyone!

Steve

My prayers are with Tucker and his family. May the Good Lord bless him with God speed recovery. Best regards.

hi steve,

i have to head out on a business trip monday and will be travelling pretty much constantly till mid september... since i havent been able to make much headway with the hospital, i was thinking it may just be best to send some funds directly to the family and wanted to double check that this was, indeed, the complete mailing address...

kindly confirm.

it may take them a few days to cash an international money order but i really couldnt get anywhere with the hospital and their billing department and have no bank details to wire funds ( which would only have taken about a day to reach )

once i head out, it would be difficult to persue the matter for me...

sorry, but i think that's the best i can do for now..

thanks,
kam

Very sorry for the family, they are in my prayers.
I hope they hire a lawyer to find out what their options are. The dept for an accident like this could continue to grow for years to come.

Accident

I would like to again thank everyone that has voiced a concern and especially thank Kam (kamdaswani) and The Grassley Family (cornerstone) for their amazing acts of kindness and humanity. It goes a long a way at a point like this in a young man's life.

Tucker's story has even turned worse as a result of a botched operation at Duke Medical. The spinal rod used to strengthen and fuse was incorrect. The rod used has been determined to be too long, therefore drastically limiting his mobility. The operation cannot be overturned.

Please send your prayers and any efforts. If you met this kid you'd love him. It's a sad story.

Sad indeed. The botched operation is even more painful.

Hang in there Tucker, you are in our prayers and we pull hard for you.
