Very nice, trustworthy person with great product and good customer service.
Amazing cues with superb finish and tremendous playability.
Great person to deal with in any sense of the word.You can't be wrong going with him but just get fabulous product which worth value is certainly going up.

I haven't dealt with him personally for a cue, but I have met him and spoke to him a few times at SBE. He strikes me as a first-class young man. What most impressed me about him is that the second time I met him I brought up that I had spoke to him the year before, and he said, "Yes, I remember our conversation."
Well, I had talked to him all of ten minutes, but he remembered talking about my interest in making cues, and even which cue of his I was interested in buying. Having been in a similar trade for almost 40 years myself, I can say that for me the most telling sign that someone will be good to deal with is how well they listen to you. I always gave my clients my undivided attention, and could remember details of their instruments, their careers, and even their families because I really did care about them.
In this way, Josh reminded me of myself. And I was always very easy and accommodating to deal with in business.
Still wish I bought that cue. He will be first on my list to make a custom cue for me if I ever feel I deserve one.

Not only does he make fantastic, reasonably priced cues, he also does excellent
re-wrap work and is willing to make custom joint protectors for other makers cues.
How often do you find that ?
Even rarer, he gets the job done when he says it will be done.
He is making my 2d Treadway cue now, and has re-wrapped a Mottey and a
Lambros for me and has made outstanding matching jps' for both of those cues.

I have known him for a couple years now and i can say that his cues hit solid, stiff and great.
however, what I enjoy better, as has been mentioned previously, he is just a genuine guy. he loves to make cues, puts craftsmanship first and customer service at a close 2nd.
when i say he doesn't take short cuts, I really mean it. spend 5 mins with him and how he calibrates his machines and you'll know just how meticulous he is.

Well put. Josh is a class act in every sense. Always keeps his customers in the loop with realistic, factual information and accurate timeframes. A breath of fresh air in this industry. :thumbup:
Josh is a great guy, and I have talked to him several times. John Pirkey has one of his cues, and I have never hit a ball with it, but from what John says, he loves it. Josh also learned from one of the best in the biz (Jim Buss), and went from an unknown cue maker to one that is in pretty high demand, almost over night!
Josh, super nice guy and one of the good up and coming cue makers. I have a buddy that has a neat Viking that he has had for 30 + years. This cue is really the only one that he has ever played with and is his baby. After a long layoff he was ready to play again. He wanted to have it refinished and have some repairs done. He called and asked me who I think should do the work on his prized possession. I told him Josh and he gave it to him at the last Midwest in Olathe. It was finished in about a week exactly when Josh told him he would have it done and it looks immaculate.
