This June, Ultimate Billiards in Fort Pierce, FL is proud to announce the 1st annual Treasure Coast Open. This weekend event will host two events, an Open event on Saturday, and an Amatuer event on Sunday. The room will be open by 11:00am both days for free open practice. The draw should be done about 1:00 with the 1st break immediately after. The race is to 7 games, double elimination, $75 entry for the Open, and $50 entry for the Amatuer event which includes greens fees. This event will draw a very tough field as all of our major events have. The last two major events that we've hosted paid out over $10,000 between them with over 200 players participating! I drove up for the amateur event on Sunday and just wanted to say that it was a well-run tournament.
I heard that in Saturday's Open Event Mike Davis beat Richard Broumpton in the finals, and that Hunter Lombardo came in third.
It was my first time to play on a Diamond table in over a year; quite different from the Gold Crowns and Metros I'm more familiar with.
The tables played very well, and Ultimate Billiards is a great room with friendly staff.
I look forward to the next one.
