Just got my order in very fast and all the tips are very consistent
looking and the one I have on my Predator hasn't mushroomed at all.
I'm playing with a medium and haven't miscued once yet and the tip hasn't
glazed over at all.
Best tip on Earth, and priced crazy low.The Ultraskin tip is in a league
of its own and Tom is super easy and prompt with getting these tips to your door as fast as possible. Thanks again:smile:

What ones did you get? I was thinking of ordering the medium.

Thanks in advance,

Tom Hay is the man in charge of these tips.If you go under search and punch in ultraskin tips, you'll get all the info you need and more.
These are the real deal.

What ones did you get? I was thinking of ordering the medium.
I got a variety of all 3 and have a
medium on my shaft right now.Honest to god,the only difference between these and Kamui is these don't glaze, you get great action and they don't mushroom.
The price is disgustingly cheap and as far as I'm concerned,I haven't
experianced such a great hitting tip since the Old Morri's,that haven't been
around for ages.
The price doesn't reflect the quality by any means.I would of rather spent
the money I spent before on Kumui's on these Ultraskin tips. Will never play
with anything else again.Phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!

great service

I recieved my tips in 3 days, installing one tomorrow. Ill report back with my playing opinion....

Highly recomended Ultra skin layered tips

Ultimate Billiards is hosting with Tom's sponsorship a series of tournaments with the Money added by Ultraskin tips which will be over $5,000.00 added.

These Tips are the greatest both owners of Ultimate Highly recommend these tips. "Bill says he won't look to another layered tip unless it's Ultra Skin."

Or, you could come over to the Cue Machinery Forum and click on any thread posted by Tom and see what the deal of the week is.

Speaking of glazing. I was using a Black King tip with Kamui chalk.
I would have to scuff the tip nightly in order for the chalk to stick.

Went back to Pre Flag Master and haven't had to scuff yet.

You can buy 6 Ultra Skins (when they are on sale) for the price of one Kamui.

Which way would you go? Do they play as well as a Kamui, you ask.
Try one and find out. I believe that you will be pleasantly surprised.

Cuesblues (Ted) and Doug are in the tip replacement business here in Denver.
Between them they have a lot of cues. They are always putting new tips of several different brands on these cues to try out the tips. And guess who gets to demo them? You guessed - me.
Here is my main test. I place an object ball about a foot from the corner pocket. I place the cue ball about 2 feet away. I then shoot the ball into the pocket and put a medium force draw on the cue ball. I do it 5 or 6 times to even out the results. What i look for is how far back the cue ball comes and if it hits the back cushion. With some tips the cue ball just draws back, others it just sits and spins for a split second and rockets back. The one that rockets back is the winner in my book, because that means less force is needed to draw the ball. Less force equals more accuracy.
ULTRASKINS are rockets. Right now I have a nearly new Emerald and a nearly new Chris Byrne tip on my two cues and they are just fine.
But I will try an ULTRASKIN when the time comes.

Hard tips?

Has anybody tried the hard tips? Anything to compare with? My favorites are Talisman WB Hard. I also really like Moori III Quick and Instroke Hard layered tips. Kamui Black Hard is too hard and Morakami Hard hasn't gotten hard enough to meet the classification yet, but still a good tip.

As much trouble as people have reported got Talisman delayering, I keep looking for new hard tips.

does any one know how the Med,soft' play ? I like Med tips .. I did order some med's .. Let me know , thanks....

My review

I installed my tip last night. I do this by hand with no lathe. I do have to say these are the easiesr as far as triming down to size. The height ofbthese tips are huge. Im probably goingbto take a few layers off. I will wait tonsee after a week of hitting balls.

Playability. I think the soft i have on is harder than a kumui blk soft. I played for three hours and had no miscues. I very rarely miscued with the kumui soft. Time will tell on that stat. I also break with my playing cue and the tip stayed shaped and didnt flatten at all.

The tip is first class and for the price i cant see buying anything else. Maybe a super soft could be made.
