I know what you mean.

Ever since i made this border to replace the destroyed parts in the VPUSA's office:

& recently replicated it for the billiard room here:

I've wanted to make a FS cue with this pattern in the wrap area.
Drew a bunch of schematics back when for stacking rings, life keep's throwing other projects at me.

A cue with natural materials for the segmented rings that denote the larger blocks, and ebony as above for the squares could be stunning. Even have enough of a tusk to try it. But then you couldn't do anything with the cue outside your own house, realistically. Maybe try it in plastic first, anyway? My ideas are always running well ahead of my time availability to effect them. & I don't spend a lot of time sitting; -0- time watching TV.
