I heard if make sure your table is lined up with magnetic North instead of true North the ball rolls truer, especially on on table with the magnetic cue ball! Also, I need an Aussie to let me know which way the 8ball swirls into the pocket below the equator.

Interesting subject. I have my cue and object ball set on direction of travel. I never use the 3d or auto zoom mode

If you aren't dead parallel with your walls you will get brain damage.

In most cases, yes. However, the measles cue ball was designed to flow, for lack of a better term, with the curvature of the earth. This effectively cancels the rotationally induced swerve (R.I.S.) which makes it the world's first known LD cue ball.

100% agree… for the red measle ball. The black dot measle ball has way more gravitational pull, but equally spaced. I think the difference is significant. The science guys would probably say that the difference is negligible. Friggin’ science guys…

I'm still just trying to get my cue shaft to move in a straight line to my aim, even prayers don't seem to help, never mind magnetic directional assistance.

It's true that north of the equator it *does* feel a lot easier to put left English on the cue ball...

a lot of times i can just switch to one of my north oriented shafts. vice versa if i drove in to town from the north. just keeping it simple. i never use the left handed cues(or cigarettes) anymore.

The only way this works is if you are about 3 or 4 cans into True North Energy Drink. Otherwise the difference is not noticeable.
