I might end up in Tucson for a few

from the locals would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

There are really only 2 rooms in Tucson.

Clicks Billiards
3325 N. 1st Avenue

Pockets Pool n Pub
1062 S. Wilmot Rd.

Clicks is closer to the west side and Pockets is more for the east siders.
I would recommend Pockets, they have a rate of $8.50 from 11AM till 6PM. They also have a special for Thursday and Sunday night, $7.50 from 6PM until closing at 2AM.

I am flying into Tucson on Nov 12-17 for a conference. Are these still the two (Clicks and Pockets) recommended pool halls? I don't gamble but like to play 9B or 1P with any level, preferably 9-footers.

Just got back to AZ, as far as I know both rooms are still going.
Never been to Clicks, Pockets is a nice room.

..........

Wound up at Pockets. Good food and clean tables. Nice setup. I'll be back.

places to play

Both of the rooms mentioned are nice places to play. Good equipment and minimal riff raff. If you give me a call we might knock around a few balls at my rug store, just for grins.
I hope you have an appetite for Mexican food.
Keep it nice. Alfie

Main Street Billiards

What happened to Main Street Billiards?

I won a big tournament there many moons ago from the Hot Seat.
I had to beat Tom (Dead Eye) Neil twice.
Tom broke like King Kong.

Main Street closed in 2009. Bob Jackson lost his legs to Diabetes and his partner ran the place to the ground. Sad, very sad. I thought at one time it was the best Room in AZ. Its a neighborhood Walmart now.
Tom Neil placed second in a Monthly 19 Ball tournament at pockets yesterday and is still playing well
