TUNICA Free Live Stream Earl Strickland vs Landon Shuffett 10 ball race to 15 at 11pm

Was anyone able to tell what kind of cue "Landslide" was using?

his website lists these as sponsors... not sure if was actually playing with them...

Steve Lomax Custom Jump Cues
Capone Custom Cues
Bill McDaniel--Official Exhibition Cue--Starburst Model

the volume was low so is possible I couldn't hear the applause..

Poolplayers here are sensitive about applause, for some reason. The shot has to be amazing to be considered worthy of applause. See any thread about WPBA events shown on ESPN for further applause discussion.

Doesn't mean they weren't into it. They just won't show it much.

WOW, last night was amazing. The fact that RLS and ES were playing on 5x10 tables and how RLS was just THUMPING every shot dead center pocket, whether it was a cut, a long shot, a long cut was nothing short of amazing. He wasn't getting perfect shape on everything but his pocketing skills saved him time and time again. Scary thing about his ridiculous shot making is that he was consistent all the way through, not a lucky shot here or there...it was just over and over again, tough shot after tough shot. Relentless but amazing. Kid could've played ANYONE and demolished them. Truly an impressive eye opening performance. I hope someone posts this match on youtube....

It's called CTE - Pro-One.. The best center pocket system ever.

Wow, great match for Landon.

Was at the Smoky Mountain Tourney. Landon was playing Shannon Daulton and was making a good comeback on Daulton. Daulton took a time out and came back and caught another gear for the win. Daulton later said he knew that one day Landon was going to beat him. The quicker that day came, the easier it would be for Landon to do it the next time. Daulton said he wanted to make sure that today wasn't going to be the day.

I really wonder if this match won't be "the day" for Landon for all the pros? We may have watched Landon "arrive."

Give Credit where Credit is due

Agree you need to pocket balls, but the credit goes to his position play, angles and speed not the aiming. He shot really well, along with Earl not shooting up to par. I am watching him shoot Alex, and it is a totally different story.

His real strength is his mental game, being able to keep the distractions including his conscious mind out of the way.

After David beat Goliath one person clapped. I think the crowd was pissed they had to wait so long for the match to get started and it got late.

the system is the main, speed and position and english is added on to the system to finish it up. Everyone talks like people need to put crazy spins and sides on the ball every shot to win. Earl got run over by a truck in that match, he wasn't given a chance to get going and before he knew it, he was buried! Oh ya, there are some real beauties in that chat stream too lol

Congrats to Landon!

Except for the ladies play on ESPN. They clap for everything! Kind of annoying really. I imagine there is someone holding an applause sign.

And congrats to Landon!

Landon was just solid in all areas of the game. Impressive. He never gave Earl a chance. If he can pull up that strong of a game on a consistant basis he will be a force.

do you think earl kinda feels like this guy? lol

Pretty close on that...I went to a women's tourney...cheerleading definitely goes on. Coached to applaud shots that have terrible rolls....if the ball goes in, audience is supposed to cheer.

I'd like to make the point that Earl's name is in the thread title also.
Champ mentioned about the chat...some guys kept knocking Earl and
his attitude even after he was quick to shake Landon's hand and give
him a pat on the shoulder....if you blow Earl out of the water like Landon
did, he respects that.
I've seen him treat Efren real good after losing also....
...he respects good shooting.
