Turning Stone Classic 9-Ball Open -- Winners and Runners-Up

interesting

One name stuck out among the winners....Mika winning in 2000, and then again in 2016; Wow.......16 years apart.....!

Does anybody have a current list of the players competing this week at Turning Stone?

But that's still the 8/1 list. I don't know whether anything has changed since then. For example, didn't one thread talk about Oscar and Ernesto Dominguez not being there because of an impending birth?

Thats all i could find for her, looked for about 45mins. She posts some good info, so I thought I would try to return the favor.
Hopefully somebody else has an updated list.
Jason

Has anyone heard anything more about the streaming? Zuglan's press release quite a while ago said upstateAL would be doing it again, with the first match at 4 pm local time Thursday. Al usually publicizes his events considerably in advance, and I don't remember anything yet from him for this event.

UpState Al is in the house. He posted a photo of Turning Stone yesterday. He will be doing the livestreaming for sure.

And if you can't wait until tomorrow for the Turning Stone, some players are at Salt City Billiards today for a warm-up event. Shane and Jayson Shaw are in the house!

Thanks. That was a Facebook photo he posted, right? I'm surprised that Al hasn't promoted it at all on AzB yet (unless I missed it).

Very honorable mention of Karen Corr.

JoeyA

Indeed. She's a stalwart at Turning Stone, having cashed in 19 of the 28 events (AzB database), including the first.

But she's not on the player list for XXIX.

[And neither is Jeremy Sossei, another TS regular.]

Is the TS event a "Win by 2 event"?

I noticed no matches were 13-12.

WOW! In all those years, never a HILL-HILL match in the finals.

JoeyA

BTW, thanks for your always interesting posts.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

No, just races to 9 prior to the finals and a race to 13 in the finals.
