Turning Stone Classic X - $25,000 ADDED - February 21-24, 2008

Dick plays good, but Thorsten plays great, so this tournament just got that much more difficult.

You've got Soquet confirmed for the tourney in post #7, but I don't see him listed in the roster that you have posted. Did he withdraw?

Ralf mentioned that he had a conflict with a tour stop in Paris (I think it was Paris) and could not make it to the Turning Stone Event this time.

Ralf originally planned on playing at Turning Stone but then realized he had a prior commitment with the Diamond Nine - Euro-Tour/ Dynamic French Open.

Usually after the player meeting is when the list of matches gets posted..
I'll try to let ya'all know if anything really interesting pops up in the first round..

the brackets will be up on the home page of AZ all weekend.
 
Can anyone at Turning Stone tell me if Paul Lucius showed up this morning for the tournament? He is an older gentleman from my local poolroom that was supposed to be there for the event and I can't get ahold of him and the hotel says he never checked in yesterday. I have tried his cel and his home number and there is no answer at either. I want to make sure his is ok.

hey Bora,
our mutual friend made a trip up from her friend in NY for the day - not sure how long she was staying for sure, but you should try her.

Thanks to those of you that PM'd me and thanks for the call 9bllvr. I haven't got ahold of him yet but atleast I know he showed up for the players meeting and when I call the hotel now they show him as checked in.
How many Azers going to the event? I decided to take tomorrow off and drive up tonight ahead of the storm coming.
