Is there any poolhalls near Turning stone.
End Rail Billiards is about 5-10 minutes away in Oneida. The pros go there and shoot once in a while. Another place is Hippos. Hippos is a little further but has about 12 9 foot Gabriels compared to End Rail's 5 9 footers. I enjoy going to both places though.

Alcohol. we mentioned a couple of places previously to get something to drink..you can bring it in with you to the event..(with in reason)

Yep end rail is a short drive from TS...

As an aside, rumor has it one young player. a previous winner on the Joss Tour has been so obnoxious and out of line the whole tournament while not playing, he will be notified he is barred from the tour tomorrow. No names as it is still a rumor but he really has been a jerk.

That's pretty interesting. I have been here since yesterday afternoon & haven't heard about that. Then again, I haven't been looking to see something like that either.

Bruce, It's been good to see you again.

As far as places to eat, you really can't to much better than Joel's Steakhouse. Awesome vittles. The place was packed last night.

Our last local in the tourney (Bucky Souvanthong) lost to Stevie Moore. That's too bad because Bucky really had a good tournament. His two losses were against some tough individuals (Archer & Moore). Congrats on a good tournament Bucky.

of course

Almost-Adam was entered/paid but did not make it to TS til the Players meeting which was too late-His spot was given away after he failed to show by the "Registration deadline".

Of course another 1 barred that will make about 20 people that mike zuglan has barred. Thats why the tour went from getting 70-80 players every tournament to barely getting 35 if he were to just relax alittle he would have the best tour going like he did 5 years ago. Thats his favorite thing to do is bar someone includeing my self. And the 19 others. Someday i hope everyone will be aloud back on the tour and everyone can just get along and play pool.

I'm not about to repeat the details.or rumors or any of it...It's not my place to do that. I'm just a photographer..

If this person was barred..and the story is true..I don't blame Mike.

Archer beat Sossei..it started at 7...ran almost 3 hrs..

on a side note. just to clear things up...NO ONE was banned..

yes Archer won the event

it is the final
archer 13
sossel 8
the final bracket is posted on the azb home page.

Sounds like I missed some good final 4 matches. Had to take the wife to the Carousel Mall for going, LOL.

Anyhow, I'm glad no body got banned. :D

Ryan I can't speak for why you are barred for Mike's events but the things that happened this past weekend that I was informed about(I was at the event but didn't see it first hand)by another player would be cause for banning someone. If I were to act that way at my job or at a company function I could lose my job for it.

I really enjoyed meeting you Bruce. Too bad you were working we had a real good (and quite interesting!) dinner. Look forward to seeing you again in August.

Well if you are talking about Joel's, that was a blast! Too bad the waiter had 4 strikes. LOL. He's probably glad we'll only be there 2x a year too many. Hahaha :D
