Oscar is content to let his Facebook friends do the dirty work and put 100% of the blame on Johnny.
But there is much more to this story which would make both of them look very very bad.
If anyone is owed money from the match, it's their stakehorses.
Archer and his backer air barreled him so please stop with this nonsense. The blame is 100% on Johnny pal!
I agree that it is in poor taste to throw JA through the coals on social media. Frankly, Oscar probably wrote this off 5 years ago (or whenever it happened, I forget now). A few people with nothing better to do are bringing it up, and harassing JA about it. They are all in the wrong IMO. JA is no saint, but so freaking what? If he stiffed for a million he shouldn't get this blowback from random "fans". JA has a body of work in his career, and this situation should not throw that all away. That's the problem with the internet, everyone focuses on one tiny thing that is a waste of time.
If you are a piece of crap that takes no accountability for your actions then you deserve whatever criticism comes your way. Don’t want to be thrown under the coals then be a good person and don’t screw people over!
No. How many bad things did you do in your life? Should everyone make light of them all over facebook? Give me a break. Life doesn't work like that. It's just people hanging on a Pro's nuts, in this case Oscar's (and I like Oscar, nothing against him). They are going for their 15 min at the expense of JA. If anything, it makes them look like fools, not JA, not Oscar.
I don't think anyone would disagree that Johnny is a POS for not paying.
But, no money was posted even though it was well-known that Johnny was having issues.
And after the match Oscar "loaned" Johnny the money.
So is Johnny still responsible for ensuring that Oscar's stakehorse gets paid?
Or did Oscar air barrel his own stakehorse by making the loan?
I have done plenty wrong in my day but I’m not a public figure and we are not talking about me. It comes with the territory for JA. And if I did do someone wrong and everyone on social media called me out for it that’s ok because I deserve it! Also that is exactly how life works so I’m not sure what world you live in? You do wrong you get put on blast which is how it should be. He should stay on blast until he pays up too.
If I understand you correctly you think he deserves a pass because of his body of work? Too funny man too funny. How long should people troll him if he never pays Oscar/backer/whomever was really "stiffed" (since everyone has a different story anyway what really went down)? Until he dies? For something that happens EVERY day in pool? It's much ado about NOTHING.

How many guys in the local room have you seen gamble when they owe someone else? I've seen it every single day. And you know what, as long as they have the money on the light on this "new game", no one can do shit about the old game that was not paid. Gambling in pool is right here, right now.

Im not fond of him either. All I can say is a friend who is fortunate enough to travel and play in a lot of pro tournaments has said Shaw is one of the few pros that actually talk to you and treat you like an equal player. The rest won’t even look at you let alone speak to you like your some how below them
