Turning Stone updates

I'm confused. The AzBilliards News Page tournament chart shows Amar Kang on the winner's side, but on FB, Amar says he missed the money round by one. What's up with that?

Who is left in the tournament and will play today?

Maybe he had/has a backer lol. Just kidding. He's still on winners side though

Probably a different tournament he's talking about.

i watched the match just now and some of his shots were not only unreal, but simply not played by other top pros

thats enough to shake most guys all day

Great match happening @ 3:00 pm est -- The Rocket vs Shaw !!

Would not miss this one for anything. I think it's a safe bet that who ever wins this match takes down the tourney.

Has anyone heard of Kang? It looks likes hes defeated Karen Corr and Thorsten Hohmann pretty handily, and he plays Dennis Hatch next. Who is he and what are his chances?

He is a very solid player who plays a lot in Southern California. I think he has done well in the Mezz West tournaments

Amar has been a consistently strong player for a long time. He's not a favorite against the likes of Hohmann and Hatch, but he's more than capable of beating the top guns.

Very strong player. Tony Chohan's cousin. I'm surprised that he travels to the TS tourney.
