there are many pieces to updating the brackets, etc. one being the ability to reach or connect with the tournament directors to get updates when you are not at the location. pertaining to the current event, Dana Bufalo touches base with AZ throughout the event and does so when he has a breather (and trust me, he works his tail off during the Turning Stone event).
