Tuxedo Cues: love 'em, hate 'em, or meh?

i like them. my main player is ebony w. elforyn/ivorine inlays and buttcap. i dress in black or dark when i'm playing too, because of chalk marks etc. so i guess i match the cue

They grew on me. I have been thinking of having a custom made for a few years now, at first I was thinking about a Titlist style cue but now I think I would have a Tuxedo cue made. Always been a fan of Ebony, I have 2 Ebony cues, one being my shooter.

Used to love them, but I prefer to see some nice wood grain and patterns.

It looks like black cues (tuxedo or not) are more popular these days, probably as they match nicer to the black cf shafts

They're not typically something I'm drawn to in a "I want that cue" kind of way because I enjoy wood grains more than black against white. Curly maple is my jam. But I still appreciate a nicely executed tuxedo design like the Cog in the post above. I've seen some Josey tuxedos that were great, too.
