TV station at Drexeline tonight!

I was just called by them to let me know they will be there to cover the event!
Hope you all will come and support Bob Maidhof efforts to grow our sport tonight!
Regardless if Kid Delicious is there or not Drexeline is one of the best halls I have ever been to. Real nice.

The owner being an excellent player himself is what separates this room from all the rest. He knows what a "real" pool room should be like!

Well pool made the sports segment at 11 PM on Ch Philly's #1 news slot
It was exciting to hear Gary Papa the local sports announcer ,showing Drexeline's exhibition featuring "Kid Delicious" Danny Basavich trick shots:
They showed the first shot with the anchor Jim Gardner excitingly wanting one more after they showed each!
They showed 4 with great camera work and both commented with amazement after each!!!

The crowd was great and Bob Maidhof commentary during the event was terrific!
Bob's and Danny's banter was enjoyable!
On Tuesday our local paper the "Delaware County Daily Times"had a major 2 page spread on Drexeline's newly enacted smoking restriction.
Bob stated to me " they cared more about the smoking ban then our coming pool exhibition"
Danny stated Jack Black has been signed to play him in the movie being developed by lion-gate.
The book "Running the Rack" has passed the 50,000 mark in sales and is rated the # 2 Sports topic book right now!
It is a great read and I recommend it!
Another pleasant thing that occurred last night as a result of my press release was a columnist for the "Jewish exponent newspaper" was there.
He interviewed alot of us and then did a sit down with Danny.
They talked and there will be a follow up soon!
The writer told me it is now a local pool article with the idea being of going nationwide with the article!
another biggie for pool.
