I have no idea what "TV4U" or "Tek TriCaster" is, but I've most definitely heard of DIAMOND BILLIARD PRODUCTS.

The Silver Nugget Casino, located on the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip, will serve as home for five different pool series to be produced by the TVS Television Network for TV4U.Com using the New Tek TriCaster production unit.

TV4U.Com, the 42 channel classic tv shows online network, has agreed with Diamond Billiards Products, Inc. and the Silver Nugget Casino in N Las Vegas to produce five different pool series in 2009. The shows will be produced utilizing the New Tek Tri Caster, enabling TV4U to produce network quality, 6 camera coverage of the events at an economical price.

TV4U.Com is already producing several bowling TV shows and boxing TV shows for their free classic tv venture. Both shows are being shot at the Silver Nugget Casino with the New Tek TriCaster.

The new shows will each have 13 episodes produced in 2009 at the Silver Nugget Casino, located on the northern end of the famed Las Vegas Strip.

Okay, here we go:

They include King of the Hill Pool, Queen of the Hill Pool, Celebrity Pool, Make That Shot, and Jackpot Pool.

The shows will be shot on Diamond Pool Tables, the top professional pool table and the one used in almost all of the major USA pool events...

...Shows will be produced and distributed by the TVS Television Network, the fourth oldest commercial network in the USA. Founded in 1961 by Eddie Einhorn, TVS has produced many billiards events over the past five decades. Both TV4U and TVS are owned by Margate Entertainment LLC, based in Henderson, Nevada.

"Thanks to the New Tek TriCaster, we are able to shoot a six camera show that is network quality," said TV4U CEO Charry Kennedy. "Using the New Tek TriCaster, we can now make a whole series of pool shows for the cost it used to take to make just one or two episodes."

Again, I ask what is the "New Tek TriCaster"?

While TV4U.Com presently mostly classic tv shows online, it also produces new shows that reflect the free classic tv from the first 60 years of television. Classic tv online has become a staple for the baby boomers to watch, a throwback to television of their youth. TV4U.Com currently presents more than 3,000 classic TV shows from the past 60 years of television, on ad ad supported free internet video on demand basis.

Okay, so I go to the http://www.TV4U.com website and search for the keyword "billiards."

Voila, up came "BCA Pool." I clicked, eagerly awaiting the pool content. :grin-square:

I watched a never-ending commercial about Hang-and-Hold hanger system. No "BCA Pool" video was forthcoming, and it's seemed like a non-stop informercial. What, do I have do view a 30-minute infomercial before I can see the BCA Pool?

Well, it ended after 60 seconds, which seemed like an eternity. Hey, I guess they gotta pay the bills with those commercials, so that's cool. After a while, the Hang-and-Hold hanger system began to look appealing!

Then came the "Circle of Sports," with an intro that, again, seems quite long. Soon host Barry Tompkins began to speak. They show a snippet of the BCA League event in Vegas, May 2006. The background music got my foot tapping, as it was "Mr. Big Stuff." Not the original artist, but it was the Vegas version, I guess. So it held my interest, better than that ESPN cheesy music.

But it ended, almost as quick as it began. It did not feature a match. Rather, it was panoramic view of all the tables in Vegas with a variety of players breaking, pocketing balls, and shaking hands. When it ended, after a few minutes, along came that first commercial, the 60-second Hang-and-Hold hanager system. No, I didn't buy it.

Well, time will tell to see how this works out. Because of Diamond's name, I'll be staying tuned. :)

I would have to believe that the WPBA has said it was OK for it's players to play in it. I wonder why it's not all over the net. Johnnyt

Those were my EXACT thoughts.

Here's Diamond Billiard Products promoting pool for the masses via this TV4U vehicle. Inquiring minds want to know more.:)

I have known Tom Ficara several years and have had several discussions with him about filming pool matches.

His site is now over 30,000,000 hits per week. All over the world.
So we are working with his ideas and schedules.

The 5 programs he has listed are of his own.

I want to thank Jam for finding this info. Good Catch!!!

I am amused at the comments about the WPBA players. Where were they even mentioned??? The only thing I can assume is that 'Queen of the Hill' was interpreted to mean using WPBA players. I do not believe that will occur.

Unfortunatley, too many cooks will spoil the broth - and that will not be allowed to happen in this situation.

If there are any quesitons, I will try to answer them - but probably a PM is the best way - or to call my office at 702-719-7665.
