Two New Forums?

First I think AZ could have a women's forum just for what's going in wonen's pool. Tour results, up coming tournaments, action, and anything else associated with women's pool & billiards.

I'd also like to see a Bar Box(7&8 foot tables) forum, used like above. As it is you have to scan the tournament forum for bar box tournaments along with 95% or more regular 9-foot tournaments, and it's easy to miss them. I really think if AZ had a forum for bar box there would be a lot more woofing and challenges=more action.

I know a lot of AZ members don't like bar box pool, and some don't follow women's pool, but with over 500 watching streaming action on a bar box on TAR, and another 400 watching the WPBA on AZ and through the WPBA site last week, I'd say enough are interested to have the two forums. Just my selfish opinion. That do you all think? Johnnyt

At first glance your thoughts seem reasonable. However, I find that the more a site is broken down into separate forums the more it takes away from the main forum. I rarely go to the action room although I like action. Likewise straight pool. I agree to having a "wanted, for sale, and trade" section but overall I think there are too many special sections now to the detriment of the main forum.

I think the best solution is that people do a better job of titling posts and considering what they put in the first sentence that you can read just passing over titles.

Bar Box is a good idea, Ladies Only is not IMHO!

the forum is about POOL, not bar box here and women's news here. i too think breaking down the forum into little bits takes away from the experience. i am not one to go to the individual sections versus the main forum and enjoy seeing all pool in one location. just curious why you would want to segregate women's pool in the forum this way.....
