Two scoops of T - Rex poop

one of the funnier lines i heard was an old guy walking up to his buddy next to me after charlie bryant started woofing at keith mccready - the old guy says to his buddy, did you hear that hillbilly guy yelling at keith, hope he can play - the guy had no idea - all i could do was smile :D

the event was great - i was expecting a lot more action downstairs, but all in all, very entertaining.

I agree that the action wasn't as heavy as it was in previous years, but some of the games did move over to a nearby pool room. We didn't see much of Saturday's night action because the second day of the Pro/Am event, Sunday, began at 10:00 a.m, and we hit the sack early.

Charlie and Keith did get into a real barkfest. Charlie's a good barker, but he was no match for Keith, the king of the one-liners.

On a bar table, Ronnie Wiseman told me that Keith didn't have to like his end of it up against Charlie playing 9-ball because of Charlie's powerful break. 10-ball, though, is another story. :D

this was my first expo, so i wasn't sure what the expect - regardless of the gambling part, i enjoyed myself immensely and took 5th-8th in the women's event to boot, so i can't complain - well, i suppose i could when it came to the last match for me next to Danny with psycho boy at 10ish Saturday night (talk about not being able to make a ball and being distracted) - but par for the course - it was great seeing everyone and a blast to watch the boys woof at each other - i could really tell Keith was in his element and that is what made it fun to watch :D

Ahhhh that was you! You know, for a first-timer, you seemed like an old pro the way you were going at it! And yes, thanks for the laughs!

Lol yea that was me and yes it was my first time. But i love action and obviously Valley Forge is the place for it so it didn't take me long to get into it.

Ha yea Kirkwood plays really well. I spent about 80% of my time down there in the pit and it was great i saw a lot of talented players. Did you or anyone else see the ahead set Scooter played in getting the 6 ball? I lost a bundle on that set.

I saw this set. Not even close as Clatterbuck was breaking two balls in everytime and getting straight on the one. That guy plays great.

As far as Tony, thankfully, each time I saw him this year he was cool. Last year, I was on the main table and doing quite well for $20 a game with my friends making a lot of money in side action. I had won about a bunch in a row and ran out on some good players (McCreesh, Adam Smith, Wilkie, Kirkwood, etc.) over the course of a couple hours. Well, this one game in particular, I was leaning down to shoot the seven ball and Tony, sitting right in my hole, yells, "USE FOLLOW" because he saw that I was going to draw the ball. He was drunk as hell and jumps up and begins rolling on the table and acting crazy. When the dust settled, I made the seven but hooked myself behind the eight and my run was over. Of course, being the stubborn guy I am, I used draw. :D

The kid that got the 6 ball and lost was Scooter. I heard he had a really rough weekend. When he was playing down in the pit he made well over a grand in side bets on the run he had and I was taking half his action with him. He is one funny kid and plays real good but got into a bad game on Saturday.
here it is
