i had hoped the excitement over this would have been more, but practically non existent, so I am going to trim the entry to $300 in hope this will entice more to participate.
Again this must kickoff at 1 pm on Friday August 2.

38th Annual Texas Open 9 Ball Championships
Hello everyone….. We are celebrating this year’s 38th Annual Texas Open 9 Ball Championships with 105 signed up with a week to go.
We will send out notices fast and furious to let everyone know where we stand with signups. We are capping the men’s division at 128 players so if you want in dont hesitate signing up.
The transfer of money from PayPal has been taking 4-5 days so I’ll take down PayPal Sunday night around midnight or whenever I get ready to hit the sack.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again this year and having an awesome Open event.

Is there anywhere to see all the entries so people can verify that they are on the list and there was no problems with entry fees.

I think it should be 500 or 1,000.

lol...Ray ...Dont say this no more, its already a disgrace that noone will enter the ring game because they are a bunch of nut hunters , NOONE is going to enter a 200 ring game, let alone 1000...And no railbirds are going to take much, hell they hardly bid on the auction...Let em put what they got in the auction...Any extra, ill make a game of some kind with them...
Well, a little roughly stated but very true. Texas is not the Gunslingers state it once was. i do think we won't know much about the outcome of this until Friday.
I honestly don't care what the ante is. i see these work in other places but they rarely go well in Texas. These things are usually and "wait and see" type of thing
