I was wondering if older Valley supremes are better than the newer ones. Also what are the numbers for such as C8, J14, F3. Plan on finding me a good 18oz one and putting on a everest or kamui tip.

Why spend so much money on a cue.....just get you one of those house cues cue & case sells.....with the new Ramon wood shafts, I heard they're awesome :D

 Ramin wood!? What's ironic is that ramin is now officially endangered...not in small part because of the millions of low end cues made from it over the course of several decades......

.

Blame it on the millions of $29.95 'Minnesota Fats' cue/case combo rigs floating out there. Mowed them Ramin forests down.

-Kat,

I already have a good two piece McDermott. I'm trying to find out which Valley supreme cues are good quality. I want to use the Valley Supreme one piece as a hustler cue. Plan on finding me one and changing it to a good tip. Also I wonder if someone could taper it. Anyhow I got a close friend that has always shot with a one piece cue. He might look different walking in with a house cue but he can pocket the balls like a pro.

Within reason, the older the better.

The ones made in Wisconsin are much better than the ones made in Texas.
And as far as China goes, well...

Best of all, if you can find one - any made prior to the 80s(?) when
Valley started printing a designation on the cue.

FWIW - don't overlook the potential of a four point Dufferin made in Canada.

All of the above - IMHO - of course.

Why don't you just play with whatever is there leaning on the wall, regardless of what kind it is,how straight it is,what kind of tip it has, etc.? Just pick the thing up & play pool !!!
