Is Barry considering changing the venue to 10 Ball, has he addressed the issue or is it NOT even...being considered?

The flyers that Barry passed around at the Derby stated that it is 9-Ball. So, at least for the year 2008, it is 9-Ball.
$100,000 Added with full field by the way. Gotta give Barry props for that.
Personally, I don't understand why we are changing the game of 9-Ball to 10-Ball.
9-Ball is hard enough for most of us.
If we want to make the pool game harder and more skillful (which I think is a mistake because the game is hard enough, JMO), why not just make the game 15-Ball?

I like 10 ball... less reliant on the break to win. Barry is an old dog though so I doubt he will ever change the format. He likes things how they are.

the only stipulation to his weekly tournament is that you live within a 50 mile radius.
do you know how that 700 bucks broken up? how much money goes into which tournaments?

BTW, "changing the venue" would be changing he location of the tournament, not what game is played.
missing the point here - "most of us" aren't the pro's for whom the game isn't too hard for.

I know what it is, I've played in it twice, finished in the top 24 twice (which means nothing to this thread), its just a question I wanted too ask...when any sport/game evolves change is a given. I'm not out there anymore so I was looking for nothing more than what was going on with Barry B. and the events evolution, evolution does not seem silly, just seems silly to not consider change...and just keep the status quo.
