Negative. If anything, the Magic Rack is what neutralizes the breaking advantage, since it allows the wing ball to be wired, therefore it wouldn't matter if Shane has a superior break because the other guy can do the same thing.

The Accurack makes it harder to make the wing ball, plus the 9 is on the spot. So someone with an edge to breaking like Mike Dechaine or SVB will benefit from it more because they can figure it out better than someone who is not great at breaking.

The Accu-Rack doesn't neutralize breaking.

If Earl gets his break together he will be a very tough out from what I saw this morning. He only missed 1 ball and misplayed 1 safety. He could hardly make a ball on the break though.

However, the hard part is getting a shot on the low ball if you aren't guaranteed the wing ball on the break. From what I saw in the Frost-Earl match, breaking is very tough in this tournament as it should be.
