Total cheap move by Karl. If I were the ref I'd agree with the foul and then boot him from the match for being such a nit.

Angle shooting at it's best. Such unsportsmanlike bahavior and the only thing that surprises me is that it took so long for Boyes to show his true self. I could always tell he had it in him.

I'm not saying it wasn't a foul, 'cause it was, but taking advantage of it is just pathetic.
 
I was wondering why Shannon was going to put his cue there while he was setting it down, because it was in the path of where the cue ball would go (assuming it rolled another foot). I was hoping the cue ball would stop short, but it just nudged Shannon's stick. It seems like something of this nature gets called at just about every major tournament now, so I'm surprised players are even allowing themselves to be put in that situation. That being said, the ball would not have traveled three more inches and it wasn't even in the line of the pocket. Even if it was, it had four feet to go. It was disappointing to see from Karl, and I hope there is an announcement, because it's common practice for a lot of players to push the cue ball (with their cue) away from the racking area just as it stops rolling. Sometimes it looks like it might be moving ever so slightly. I'd hate to see someone try that against Karl.

karl has to pull these moves because he has no chance of getting into final day....he is too weak mentally and misses way too many easy balls
 
in another note, Karen Corr just drilled James Blackburn 11-1 and will play Jayson Shaw next. She is on fireeeeeeeeeee
 
Daigle 100/1 defeated Niels Feijen 20/1 hill hill match.

I've seen Martin Daigle play a number of times at Turning Stone, solid player and this is a big win for him.

That's an upset in my book.

I had Niels in my top 5 for this US Open.

The one loss bracket is going up be pretty tense.
 
Anyone else getting an annoying buzzing sound?

It appears to have stopped.
