After she wins this , her next match will be against an ex world champion , either Thorsten or Archer. Should be no sweat for her LOL. Go go Corr![]()
It looks like Thorsten is playing Mike Davis right now.

Karen in trouble down 8-5 to Felicilda...
spartan jinxed her.
Apparently. What flight are the Ko's taking in the morning?
They're probably not going home yet. When you are a US-visiting non-immigrant foreigner, it is a must that you show a round trip ticket upon entrance in the immigration. So I guess the Ko brothers are not leaving until the entire event ends. Meanwhile, they may be up for some money games. They'll probably leave the US with plenty of dollars in their pockets and go back home to Taipei where their world championship trophies and medals are waiting for them.
nobody is going to play them for money except SVB and they won't play him, plus he's still in the tourney. They can always play in the Thursday night handicap tourney at Q-Masters though. If they wait around until Saturday night they can go trick or treating. I'm sure they have Pokémon costumes with them.
Its hard to compare US Open and WPC. they have different formats, and even if some players from WPC are missing in the Open, the US Open has an extra dimension with the double elimination format.
I am not saying you can fluke yourself to a world title by luck of the draw, but the single elimination format in WPC increase your possibilities of avoiding some of the opponents you ultimately can not avoid in US open.
With that said, is this the first time in the 40 years of US Open history that there are no american players among the last 8 on the winners side?
