U.S. Open 9-ball Updates

Looks like Boyes took it down...
Like it or not, the guy's got game.
I'll be pulling for Kevin Cheng to knock him off in the next match, though..

When he hit 9 games he had a 0.974 TPA, he shot phenomenal on his trip to 9, then stumbled his way to 10, and finally finished it off with a break and run.

All in all, he played great. If he comes out with the same level of play he had to get to 9 against Cheng I would say he wins.

Boyes played almost flawless. Shaw made quite a few mistakes and broke like crap. It's imposible to fade even a b**** doing that!

Thanks for the stats... 0.974 is pretty insane.
I really hope someone will knock him out (of the tournament ;)) though...

Souquet and Chinakhov hillsies as well!
Wish I could be there to see all these great matches.

Wow, Ralf wins another hill-hill match, this time vs. Shaw.
The man has got nerves of steel.

Must be exhausting to play so many long matches in one day... hopefully, he's still got some left in his tank for tomorrow.

Does anyone know if Yu-Hsuan Cheng is playing slow like how he did in the World 9 Ball? With the air strokes and all? Prior to the W9B he was playing much faster. How's his pace at this year's Open?

Yeah that was surprising that Ralf could hang in there at midnight against the young and hungry Jayson after playing all day long. I thought Jayson had a big advantage playing that late but Ralf proved me wrong. Cheqio for the win mb ? :D

I doubt he has changed his style. He'd like taking his time to study the shot, like Ralf. Anyway, the # of air strokes probably consistent with his heart rate

My guess, the ''knock out'' will happen. The issue w/o tissue's of ones prior actions, if negative to the game, have an amazing prophecy if its able to be ''played out''.
