Whats the deal? Some matches use the shot clock, some dont. Anyone know why??

No idea. I think maybe if its a full production, they use it, if its a still camera production, they do not? Pure guess.
I think the difference is the "full production". Those matches are being recorded for dvd and have all the extras stats, graphics, shot clock operator etc. I imagine the shot clock keeps matches that are being recorded on pace so the dvds or overseas broadcasts aren't too long.
