UK Open 2025 Telford, UK, May 6-11

And because of this post, Tony Drago just deleted his AZB account ;)

But I agree, while Drago had some big success, especially at the MC, I always considered Gray the best player coming from a snooker background.

Edit: ...or maybe Chris Melling...but he never really got his snooker career going.
Yes, Tony was an oversight. Thanks for the correction.

Mickey pulling away.

Shaw has not been at his best even getting this far. Has a cold or something. A touch inconsistent. But he tightened his game in the second part of his win over Tuan.

Shaw made a great jump shot to pocket the 2 in the right side after a Tuan safety when the score was tied 5-5. Shaw then went up 7-5. Tuan then made one of his occasional unforced errors i mentioned in my evaluation of his game and Jayson took it home from there.

Yapp has been fantastic all tourney. Lost to Krause 11-3 in the Scottish final. Maybe we’ll see them play again.

Yapp is also racking up Reyes points. He could be a lock if he wins the UK Open, but is already in the drivers seat for an auto bid.

Krause made three or four bad blunders toward the end of his win over Patrick. A more experienced player would used the errors to make a comeback win. Some nervy moments for the Dane.

Meanwhile Felix Vogel won the juniors event.
This young man will be a player to watch for the future.
He also played very, very well at this years European Championship, beating Mario He to secure the title for Germany in the team event.
And for future MR events I would love to see more juniors in the main events before they have to fall back to youtubers, TV hosts or the Hearn himself.

It’s not working because WNT.TV is not using the 3-hour buffer they rolled out a month ago.
It depends the hardware level of place that is putting stream out. You need good computers there to be able do it safely. Taom open they decided not to use all features to be safe that computers stay up and running...

I'm loving the PiP feature. Can watch table 1 with commentary and keep my eye on Tyler's run on table 2 or just do some work. Nice resize and keep on top feature. MR has brought us a long way.
