I'm actually surprised more people don't call him "chef" or "The Chef".
I think Fedor started falling off a bit after his breakup with Kristina. Wouldn’t surprise me if he had a few more days at home practicing pool with her compared to now maybe hitting the social scene!

That seems very far from Voy-check. I think that's how you pronounce it. Idk how you get Wojo from that. Voy-check seems pretty simple to me.
Maybe there is a Polish here that can correct us.

I had a bad feeling about the final being one-sided because Woj gets intimidated by Filler. Thinks he has to play perfect to win - which he does - but then makes uncharacteristic mistakes trying to be perfect.
Looking back, Filler only showed lots of visible excitement in the UK Open when he was on the verge of beating Feijin in the quarters. Pumped his fist a few times and so forth. Niels had closed to 8-7 and had the break, but he scratched and that was it.
I bet Josh looked at the quarters and thought only Niels and Yapp might give him trouble. Once he got past Feijin and saw Yapp had lost, he knew he would win it all. Woj, Oi, Shaw and others fold mentally against Filler.
In a prematch interview, Feijin dismissed WNT questions about the great Filler. Merely called him “one of the better young players in the world.”
He went on to say, with a smile, “If I am on my game and my break is working, no one is going to beat me. If he’s on his game and his break is working, no one is going to beat him. That’s nine ball.”
Niels knows how good Filler is, but he never concedes an inch to anyone. Other players need to take Niels’ online course on the mental game! (-:
Once you start thinking a guy can’t be beat, he can’t be beat.
By extension, if we want to see players who master the break rewarded then both players should have equal opportunity to break - hence alternate breaks.
That's one view. It's probably not mine. I prefer winner break, but not dead set on it. In any case, this debate has gone on a long time. No need to rehash here. Players know the rules and have to abide by them.
Yes they do. Rules should always be the same for both players. No rehash here - just saying that if it's all about the break then let them both break. That's all.
They have a great format, I agree. But I think it's a great format for the likes of me and most people and a decent format for the players that play in it.
Anyway, let's just give it time - the 9 ball game at the pro level will eventually go back to alternate breaks for the same reasons that winner breaks proponents want winner breaks.
I'm just fed up of people calling Filler the best player in the World.
