For those of you who got DAZN for the Mosconi Cup, the second session of the UK Championship is going to start in 20 minutes there. Neil Robertson and Judd Trump are tied at 4-4 going to 9.

It's live on Youtube also

Neil Robertson 4-4 Judd Trump

Session One frame scores: 55-31, 36-78, 74-4 (69), 14-84 (79), 103-8 (103), 0-89 (58), 110-22 (110), 0-128 (128)

Neil has 2 centuries Trump has 1
Bookmakers still have Trump as slight favorite
Head to head Trump has edge 19 to 15 https://cuetracker.net/head-to-head/neil-robertson/judd-trump
But I think Neil will snap this one off

That was a super match.

I have now figured out who will win the snooker titles.

It seems that the guy with the skinniest pants and the longest pointiest shoes always comes out on top.

What happened? I was watching earlier and Trump was clearly in the lead.

Then I look again, it's very late at night and they say Trump lost! That's statistically impossible!

If I were Trump I would demand a recount.

It was an endurance test, Trump admitted that the pressure finally got to him.
6 plus hours is a long match

Towards the end, Robertson was taking over a minute on many shots. He has withdrawn from the tournament this week (the Scottish Open) to recover. He seemed lost and bewildered several times in the last few frames.

The Scottish Open is available on Matchroom.live https://matchroom.live/, which is only $2/month for US viewers.

What was and always is most impressive though (and the same goes for all the top players in all cue sports) is that they were making most of their shots as intended under that intense pressure. Both were feeling the pressure because they know just how well the other guy copes so well with pressure. It was sport at its finest.

i was first thinking this was gamesmanship, because he doesn't normally play that slow. but watching neil in the chair after the win made it clear he was mentally toast
