Jackson Cue Company out of New York

I think that is from the late 70's to late 80's, when he change the logo to Jackson on the butt like Schon. Here is a picture of my vintage Jackson. :D

One little tidbit on JCC

When they first started they used the JCC logo and were using standard 5/16-14 bushka recessed joints. Then they changed to their proprietary joint which means you pretty much need to buy shafts from them and you won't find a Predator. So, if I am correct, the cue you have inquired has a standard 5/16-14 joint. I bought 2 of the newer ones ,one for me, and one for my son. We let them both die agonizing deaths in the trunks of our cars. That is how much we liked them. They had the newer "Jackson" imprint. Not impressed.

Do you still have the cues that died in the trunk?

Actually, a friend of mine has 2 of them. One he uses as break. The player has a 314-2 shaft but the shaft's ring is a little bit smaller than joint's ring. He bought many years ago when he was living in Germany. The so-called break cue has white phenolic flat faced joint. The player is piloted bushka style. I will to get photos of them posted here soon. Thanks everyone for your help. That's what the friends are for, isnt it? ;) :D

I think he used his as a jack handle or left it somewhere in a poolrioom because he said he couldn't find it when I asked him if it was still in his trunk a few years ago. I think I sold mine to some kid for about $30. It was warped before I started leaving it in the trunk. They played okay, but I reaqlly was dissapointed in the joint and hit. They were not very crisp hitting. More of a thud.
