I remember seeing a couple of guys posting this travel case a while back but it never occurr to me to order one until i needed more storage space recently. I own a JB Bazooka and it's a gorgeous looking case with great protection. I was deliberating between getting another Bazooka but i ended up ordering another Porper like dealer case on wheels. That case is being custom made in a factory here in China and i saw that a friend in China,Shanghai (Paul and Chady) ordered one of these(Steppo Case) and i totally remember these cases exists.

After seeing their pictures i decided i need one...i did a quick search on AZ and found Branko, the maker of Steppo Cases.

Branko is excellent to communicate with and really prompt. We worked out what i needed and here it is:

The biggest drawback to this case? It's too freaking expensive to ship this case to me...i paid $200++ to ship each case...

This case is just amazing on so many levels. It's built like a tank!!

I love the removable hinge and the locking mechanism with that TSA feature. Definitely don't regret buying this and all these features really make that hefty freight cost easier to digest.

Hey Buddy,
Looks so nice:grin: how much Cues and shafts are hold it and it fits for 30inch butts too?
Shot me a pm about the price and order details.

One of my closest friend's is the one who designed this case... he is the main designer for Platt Cases... Nice work!!

You cannot beat these cases for storing and transporting cues.

I've met the man a few times at the WCCS and he's 100% genuine.

Great buy.

ah, you got the new and improved version. Mine has the removable lid without hinges. The one improvement I could see for these cases would be to have the retractable handle that pops up. When your loaded down at the airport its a ***** without it.

Also just remembered that the jp's are done for that cue....just need to buff out. Will probly just ship them to NYC in case you guys already have stuff going back and fourth

How much $ is this case? Do they do custom work? Looks like yo could easily fit another 3 butts and 10 shafts, is that an option? How tall can a cue be without being an issue?

That's a sweet case.

Do they make smaller sizes?

Also, I'm curious, how many cues does your Bazooka hold and what's the interior?

Thanks,
J

Hey Buddy, how's it going?
I can't say for sure if 30" is a problem or not but from the looks of it with some of my taller JPs on regular cue butt it fits fine.
To be on the safe side just drop Steppo a line here on AZ or email him @ Branko Stepanovich - bstepanovich@yahoo.com and he'll take good care of you!

That's pretty cool.

Thanks.

That a sick case there buddy..Very nice stuff and really perfect for its role..

Thanks Al, i need to order a couple more cues from you to fill up the other cases :)

Fill that bad boy up with plenty of cues when you come visit me in NYC next time! :)

That would be a really silly thing to do...the smart thing to do would be to order another case from Branko when i'm heading over, and fill it up with Tommy's cues and fly back to Asia.

The case looks really nice, but are you sure it will provide enough protection? :p

Now that is the most important question now isn't it... :D

That man deserves an ice cold beer just for doing what he does!

No doubt, i'll be sure to test this out the next time i head out of town on a plane.

This seems like Fort Knox on wheels!great

Oh it's Fort everything on wheels hehe.

I was told it's the new and improved version as well and i think the Piano Hinge is a brilliant idea for such case. It's definitely strong enough to solve the lid sturdy and convenient enough to remove the lid when need be without any complication what so ever.

I was thinking about the retractable handle bar when i ordered too, in fact i ordered another large dealer case in China with that exact function. I decided against that for this case since i have a pretty cool foldable trolley that'd work well with this case. When this arrived yesterday i was glad i didn't over think about the trolley system cos the existing handle over the top works for me. I think it's got something to do with my height as well, i'm 5'11 and all i need to do is grab the top handle give the bottom a little kick and it tilts over where the wheels then does all the work.

Ahh....the JPs :grin: I'm dropping you an email now.
