Uniloc quick release joint

Polishing screws really is this simple. In the cue or out.
This screw looks pretty bad but,
Run the lathe in reverse, (counter clockwise) duhhh
Dremil runs clockwise.
2 different bars of rouge.
Red 1st (compound)
Then white last.
1 buffing pad for each. Pennies on fleabay.

I heard you only need Meguiars compound to polish them .
I tried with 000 steel wool plus compound and polish. Barely shined it.
It's sad that Uniloc contracted them to a south of the border shop .

I say,
To each thier own. I try to help when possible. If someone says what they use works,
Who am I to dispute it.
I just move along!

I like both of my predator cues one a sneaky Pete the other a break cue both have the uni loc joint no trouble with them at all as of yet .
As for polishing the pin I've never given it a thought until I seen this post and so I doubt I'd ever try to alter it in any way shape or form .
