I don't have any pictures handy but I received permission from Edwin Reyes to use an inlay design he pioneered. It's what he called his "drop shadow" design. I was so blown away by it when I visited him he told me to feel free to use it. It's essentially taking any inlaid point or inlay and doing it first in ebony, then moving it slightly askew and raised up slightly and doing the same shape in ivory. It looks like the ivory is 3D and the ebony is a shadow of the ivory design. I'm not going to over-use the concept and always give Edwin props for the original design when I do use it, but it's most unique inlay inlay idea I've seen in many years. RIP Edwin!
