SEYBERTS carries some Universal cues $ 1,300.00 and UP-
Displayed on the Seyberts site with wooden shafts,
Carbon upgrade for Yapp I suppose.
Can't find any info bout them re: where they're made, etc. The wood shaft has a CF tube in it. 2 CG hafts, 12.4 & 11.8. Close-ups of the inlays and rings suggest high quality

Their break cue is great. Love the minimal branding and simple but effective grip. Jump cue also. Not keen on the gold or blue. But the black one is real nice. They are a Taiwanese company I think. Lots of players here are using them.
they made good LD cues and were kind of cousins of predator and lucasi before (same factory?). i didn't care much for the designs but a local player i know swore by it and placed 5th in the world 8b championship with one.
Ralf souquet, also had his own line.some years back, But no where near as, fancy as yapps.
was this his totem pole cue?

Universal Pool Cues
Universal cues are made in the same factory as : ADAM, Predator, Lucasi, Players, PureX, Buffalo, Riley, & Dufferin just to name a few. Huge place capable of truly amazing output. When it started it was the TaiCanWoodFactory. Those nice Licos SW copies were made here too. Basically a giant OEM shop: you design it/they'll make it. No. Fullcan is a big distributor/retailer. They don't make anything, they sell stuff made by various shops/factories. It is owned by CPBA. They also run events and manage players.They are made by Fullcan in China

Universal Pool Cues are made by a Taiwanese company, Taican Wooden MFG(established 1967), which is a large-scale manufacturer that produces cues for many other prominent brands, including Universal itself.
The main factory is in Dongguan, China. I've seen pics of the inside and its insane. Rows and rows and rows of equipment. They buy hard-rock maple by the shipping container load. BIG operation. Like most Chinese/Taiwanese makers you basically tell them what price point you want to be at and they'll build it. From simple cues like Players/Dufferin all the way up to really nice pro level stuff.
They make A LOT of cues. And yes, they do indeed make "good" cues.
Their B to B catalogs are amazing.
You'll find the same cues sold under a variety of brand names. When unbranded, the same cue can be had for a bargain price if you find one. They are often "unknowns" and people will often say the cue is too nice, couldn't be made in Taiwan.
Want a line of cues? No problem. They will brand them for you if you buy a bunch.
Its hard to tell these days where exactly they come from. KaoKao, KaoFa and KPS(Falcon parent) all have shops in both Taiwan and the Mainland. You've also got Fury and MIT which are run by the Tsai family, they have Tai./Chin. locations too. AZ'r Joe Lolley used to sell his 'BamaCues' which were a really nice asian sourced cue. Wish i'd bought one. Nice cues for the $. I think they were either KaoKao or KaoFa made.
