And with the World 14.1 Championship going on at the same time under the same roof....the Carom Cafe may have the honors of converging the most international cue talent all together ever.

An virtual Olympic event if you will.
 
WOW! a chance to watch a live event with the biggest names and not have to get up at 2 am.. Hopefully Carom Corner ( Dru) will be able to live stream the event.

???? Why??? Did Jan Carl CaromTV quit Live Stream from Carom Cafe??
 
Bill and Bob, don't even go there!

There is an intransigent quality that prevails in the Carom Cafe inner circle. I neither have the inclination or interest to deal with it.

Don't misinterpret my statement. I wish those running the tournament the very best. If there is any thing they want me to do to help them , they needn't ask twice.

I look forward to watching from afar.
 
Hey Chris,

Jan Carl was/is instrumental in streaming/recording events from Carom Cafe. And has for many years. Very nice guy that knows what he is doing. He has streamed for the Carom Cafe before the rest of us knew how to pronounce streaming. He set up the streaming of last years Women's and International Open event.Personally I think he and Merrill Hughes did an excellent job last year.

I especially look forward to this years event with the 14.1 World tournament as an addition.

My last interaction was with Ira Lee( a great promoter of the game). He was instrumental in the ESPN Semih Sayginer/Mike Massey/Eric Yow trick shot exhibition in Las Vegas a few years ago.

As of a month ago, my understanding is that they will be doing a pay-per-view event.

I hope this helps and gives you some context.

Question... Are you talking Both events?? Or just the 14.1 Event By Dragon Promotion [Charlie Williams]?? Who 3C Events draw more attention than USBA Events!!

Me: My understanding is that they are distinctly different events and will be streamed differently...BUT...I bow to my Carom Cafe friends regarding how they will/may proceed.
 
Of course...but it is and must be done incrementally...unless you have this huge stash of money you want to donate to speed up the process?
