Looking for unusual one pocket matchups that have happenned and results.

I'll offer one. Around 10 years ago Ronnie Allen plays Cliff Joyner At JOB's Nashville. Cliffs spots him 9-4 but Ronnie plays one handed. Ronnie stole the money... wasn't even close

I don't believe that is unusual.

I've seen a spots don't count foul given to someone and every time it was their turn they picked up the cue ball and placed it corner hooked in the opponents pocket.

Of course the obvious spots where someone uses a golf club or broom.

Seen 28 to 5 game where it just turned into a spot shot, draw back, spot shot.

Saw a game where someone played a local but the local made the other player wear his glasses (which make you blind) Indy ppl will know who wears the glasses.

Saw a patch over the dominant eye in one pocket.

I've got a dvd of Ronnie against McCready and Harry Platis. Ronnie shoots every other turn one handed. Although Ronnie lost some money he was one of the best one handed players around

I saw the late great Abe Rosen (in his 80's) play a local player one pocket, scratches didn't count for Abe but get this: He used a crayon for a cue! I don't remember who won but it was close.

Back in the day Ronnie would spot great players 8-6 and steal . He had a special weighted shaft that he used to play 1-handed . Needless to say he won the cash most of the time . If you locked up the top 10 pool players of the 60's-70's in a room with the same amount of dough and they had to stay until someone had it all, I would bet on Ronnie hands down .

one hand one hole

I think Ronnie Allen was the best one-handed 1-pocket player in history.

one hand one hole

I think Ronnie Allen was the best one-handed 1-pocket player in history.40 years ago in Vegas Ronnie played Harry the Horse 1-pocket even-up
and shot one hand.Joey Spaeth took half of Harry's action.Joey said Ronnie
did everything with one hand that you could do with two and got all the
cash.Eddie Taylor may've had a chance but i doubt it.

I applaud RA for his outrageous talent but you might not hear anything.
Most people can't hear one hand clapping.

Banged up, I was at JOB's when Ronnie played Cliff one handed.
At the time I had no idea who he was. I cant remember how much they were playing for but I do seem to remember a $10,000 side bet. I was still pretty
young and could not keep my eyes off that damn stack of hundreds.
I also remember Ronnie trying to get a guy wearing a Ping hat to give him a few strokes and gamble on a golf course. He would hold his cue like a club and swing it around his belly saying "how can I play with a swing like this".

Rumor is that Ronnie said, if he could play himself, the 2-handed-Ronnie
could spot 1-handed-Ronnie 8 to 7, but no more.
