Bought a black elastic band with a piece of metal about the size of a one inch washer on one end. The washer would fit between butt and shaft and then you just looped the other end over your thumb while stroking.
The idea was to teach you how to throw your cue forward when pulling the trigger. If you were at pause at end of backstroke and loosened your grip it would actually shoot cue forward like a sling shot, had to be careful. Could have cut the waistband off a pair of underwear and had the same result. It was fun but really messed up my stroke for awhile
