Here are some pictures from the final day of the UPA Tour Championship. ESPN was taping and it was kind of cool to see how they did it.

I had some help with some of these photo's. At the end of the day my battery died in my camera and my spare was used up. An angel took mercy on me let me use one of her camera's.

She is a new member here. So thanks Kobi_N_Pool....you ROCK !!!

If we are lucky maybe she will post up some of her shots. I saw them and they are awesome.

He was playing Charlie Bryant and I was sitting in the corner next to the chair where the players would sit when it was not there turn. Mika and Charlie got engaged in a great safety battle and Mika came out ahead with a decent shot.

Charlie turns to me and says something along the lines of "Can't get a roll"

I say to him "Don't sweat it. That was a great great safety battle" The whole exchange was done quietly and kind of under our breath. I look up and Mika is giving me a sh!tty look and making a pinching gesture with his fingers like "Shut up"

The reason I was pissed off was because:

1. The exchange was done very quietly and respectfully.

2. He was doing the exact same type of talking when Charlie was at the table.

Mika was just pissed because he put Charlie in jail a few shots before and Charlie made a great kick/safe and said loudly "How bout that !!!!" Mika then made an equally nice shot and said loudly "How bout that !!!" Charlie then made a hit but left Mika the shot.

I just thought it a bush league move to sharp shoot me for trying to pump Charlie up after what could be construed as an unlucky roll. Especially since he had just started to look at the shot when the exchange happened. Not like I was talking when he was down on the shot.

But hey, he is a champion, and I know the pressure of the moment can weigh heavily.

All in all Mika is good guy and a credit to the sport. I just happen to be a little thin skinned when it comes to someone telling me shut up :D :D
