Clive is about 15 miles from the pool room which equates to 15 mins from the pool room. Our highways are good!
If you are staying in Clive/WDM there is a decent place to hit some balls (Stix) before heading to Big Dogs if you are looking to bang them around a bit. The pockets are pretty big there and they help make a person think they are shooting better then they really are (myself included) lol.
If your bringing your new cue Watchez, it won't matter how you hit them; since everyone will be mesmorized.
All I know is SVB won the ring game which is good enough for me..I didnt see it cuz I got to the pool hall kinda late...well time to wake up!
Imagine that...no one at Big Dogs will bet $50k..At least no one from Des Moines. There are some special guests though so who the hell knows...I didnt hear nothing about it though.
SVB did win the match. He broke like a champ. Of course he wouldnt play Scott a race to 11 in 9 ball instead for it all. He insisted on 10 ball.
Well it was a 10 Ball ring game...I think you meant Scott realized he couldnt win so he tried to SWITCH the game to 9 ball so he had a better chance but SVB wouldnt switch games. Cmon hes a world champion 10 baller.
Anyways if you like Scott soooo bad just bet me $250 and I'll take SVB. I assume this is Danny...if it's not Danny you dont have action.
Ya its Danny. When you can break like SVB was of course he had the best of the situation. When Scott did have his break working he ran out. It really was down to the breaks. I do like Scott and if I wasnt a cheap a@@ I would take you up on it.

Negative...watching at Jasons tonight and tomorrow. Got my ticket for Sunday though so after Smokies I'll be heading straight up there. I didn't feel like paying big bucks for all three days. I just hope I don't miss any side playing/action going on up there in the mean time that is worth watching.
Did you get VIP seats? If you did might want to make sure you get up there early. Was talking to Mike A last night and he said Big Dogs and TAR sold VIP seats and didnt know how many had even be sold as of then.
I did get a VIP for Sunday. Jimmy K bought like 3 or 4 and is going to be up there early to save me a seat if possible. I would rather not rush the poker tournament since it is the big one, but I don't think it will take that long with only 10 people. Its not the end of the world regardless. I was a little dissapointed TAR wasn't set up on time and it started 2 hours late (makes for a tired Friday), but still was fun to watch. Props still go to Jason, Adam and Mike for hopping in the box with the big boys.
