IF YOU WIN it might. Otherwise, you just have a team with some good players on it.....
Less teams = less payout
The only way it might work out in your favor is if you got 4th or 5th in a 18 team league and got lets say $200. Where as if you get 1st or 2nd in a 10 team league, your payout might be 300-350.
But really, do you play for the payout at the end of the year? Or do you play for the camaraderie and the competition and the strive to get better? Never mind, I know the answer.......:nono::nono::nono:

It was a bad year last year... Taxes, IRS, Roth, NASDAQ, S&P 500, league payouts. All in the tank.
I'm getting my "brand new Edgar suit" out and hitting the town tonight. Can't believe I have never made it to the square one! A new bar every week -- that's what I like about league.

I wanted to shout out to all my Iowa players, and let them know that I will have my website, www.johnsoncuerepair.com live in about a week. But, before I do, I would like to see what you guys want to see in a local website? I will have tournament info and instructional videos(courtesy of Dr. Dave and many others) etc., but really want to know what you want so I can better serve the pool community in Iowa. You know how we roll, WE GOT OURS!!! We chopped you up! That was our plan from the start! We all needed an extra 7 or 8 bucks!

Jerome does not have snooker table. He's got two nice, refurbished, pre-1900 Brunswicks that he wants to sell.

If you know Jerry McGrath in Urbandale (he used to play at McCoys a lot), he has had a snooker table dismantled at his house for a long time. It might still exist. Also, Steve Cover (played out of Smokeys and lives close to there) has a garage full of tables...maybe a snooker?
What fun project are you attempting, if you don't mind telling us?
