Update on the Des Moines pool scene

Dr. Phil ain't got nothin' on you...

I wish I coulda heard it. When I tuned in Thursday night wasn't much going, and I musta missed you Friday. Probably didn't stay up late enough.

For some reason I couldn't sleep Saturday night so I tuned in to the MikeyFrost show. Mikey, you were very entertaining. Thoughout most of your 'broadcast', you kept all listeners well informed about the mini matches going on. We always knew the scores of all the matches going on. Thanks a bunch for the play-by-play and interviews. It kept me awake until 3 or so.

BTW...how'd that 'purse full of ash tray' come out? That would have been a site to see.

You coming to Cedar Rapids in March or Davenport in April? See you there I suppose.

OH man! Thanks for the compliment, it seems I was enjoyable to hear throughout the weekend which is much appreciated. I take it you were on for when I had Chip Compton in there with me, I think we were pretty funny together.

About the ashtray in this woman's purse. Let me tell you there were about 2 thousand cigarette butts on this thing and we were in close quarters where we were running the stream. I knocked the ash try off the table and I promise every single ash and cigarette butte in this tray fell inside this ladies purse. It was like perfect timing. We all laughed about it but she was a little embarrassed and I attempted to help her out a little bit. That was funny.

I'll be at Cedar Rapids. I don't know about the ISPA tourney yet though. We'll have to see I guess. Thanks for watching, I promise we had twice as much fun in person there.

Yea, I could almost see your face getting 'red' with embarassment even though you weren't on the screen. (yea, I know:))

Thanks for the laughs Mikey.

I have a previous engagement or I would like to try that one pocket tourney. I'll pass the word around here, there might be someone interested. I've tried some local one pocket tournaments here, but not too much interest in anything on a big table...seems everyone around here is only interested in the BB tables...sad.

I'll tell you what that was the tip of the ice berg that night. Good times.

Big Table is making a comeback Ken. There was not any action at all on bar tables in Olathe. It was mostly all on the big tables. That trend will spread I think.

Yeah I'll tell you first hand if he plays the way he did in Olathe, he would win. He's capable of winning every one of those events. What's even more crazy is people play real good against Jesse. None of his opponents all weekend played bad. He just mad opportunities and rarely made mistakes.

Jesse Bowman and Jon Kucharo came through Big Dogs last night and they both got played. Definitely a good Monday night in the pool room.

C'mon - some of us are anchored by things beyond our control. Who, what, when, how....

Give it up!!

No shot coming from me. Someone else may volunteer the info. I did like the atmosphere last night. A whole lot of sweating and people betting on different things.

Puerto de Knock'O

LOL good one.

I didnt know this was a real place. It say's its a small farming community where villagers are known to knock any and all action, especially when they are on the losing side.

LOL, have you downloaded Dumpville on facebook yet? You gotta be friends with Ronnie Wiseman to unlock the app.

Yes, it was a good night in the room last night! Would have liked to see Jamie play John some, but I really don't think John liked his side of it. Jason Chance played Jesse some one hole gettin 9-7. Fun to watch that! When I left Theo was playing John gettin the 5 and the breaks. John could stay in town and have a lot of action giving the 5 and the breaks:)

On a side note, we didn't see the two "best" players in Des Moines up there trying to get any action. I saw Troy H., Theo, Jason C., Mike H., and Jamie F. trying though. I'm sure I'll make someone upset by saying this, but I'm just saying what I did see and what I didn't. Have a good day everyone!!

On a Monday night??? WTF??? So instead of doing my taxes last night I could have been watching some of the action. Damn that pisses me off... Sounds like a good time though.
